Tl single crystal is known to show superconductivity below 2.4 K, and thus ultra-thin Tl single crystal film has a possibility to be a two-dimensional superconductor that is important for creating a topological superconductor and therefore Majorana Fermion. In this talk, we first report the atomic structures of single crystal Tl films grown on a Ag(111) crystal surface, and then the electronic structures of Tl films grown on a Ag(111) crystal and a Ag thin film formed on Si(111). The physical properties of the Tl films will be discussed by comparing the obtained experimental results with the theoretical ones reported in the literatures.
